Well....I suppose its high time I update this thing! :) Lots going on in my busy little world since I was here last! New jobs, new locations.... new obsessions. lol. Addicted like mad to WoW, making video games, writing new stories, painting new pictures..... the creativity has been great! I'm learning a new addiction now...3D art! Besides the stuff I do on IMVU I mean. Really looking forward to the day I can afford the perfect computer to do the rendering on. ;)

Current Projects

Almost a year ago, I bumped into a fellow gamer on Tagworld.com. Not just a gamer, but a woman gamer, and right around my age no less!! Her name was Lucy, though she goes by the name of her favorite Final Fantasy character-Yuffie , more specifically-YuffieTheGreat! Needless to say, we became quick friends.

Shortly after that she introduced me to a site called GaiaOnline. She showed me around, introduced me to a couple of her friends and I found myself instantly hooked. I was suddenly surrounded by people who, like myself, share a love of games, anime, art, music, and literate role-playing. Within a short time I was actively participating in several guilds and becoming a part of some really interesting stories.

After tossing some ideas around for awhile, Lucy and I decided that we needed to combine our skills: she is an experienced writer and photojournalist, and I am a freelance artist and dabble in some writing myself. Thus was born our current project: Dimensional Rifts.

Dimensional Rifts is (or will be) a series of chapters in graphic novel form, based on an rp we are part of on GaiaOnline. Its a story loosely-based on the Final Fantasy worlds, but uniquely ours. With the interesting characters each having their own tale to tell, their individual stories weave in and out of the main plot, creating a world of action and emotions that is complex yet easy to follow.

With the atmosphere of the story being a tad on the dark side, the art is a bit of a challenge for me, but that only makes it that much more exciting. The preliminary sketches for the character profiles are nearly complete and I will be posting some teasers in the very near future, along with links to a video teaser and the future web-site. ^^

Who exactly is the muse, you ask?

Well, first of all let me welcome you to my very first blog. *blushes* I was coaxed into this a little by my friends and I'm sure I'll thank them later when I figure out how to get it all "me-ified".

The wandering muse is me, I am she. She is my collective unconscious and the part of me that needs to create something new every day, be it art, music, poetry or just a few changes on my websites. She is the one that is free to roam the galaxies looking for inspiration and inspiring others to free their imaginations as well. She draws, paints, is learning digital art on her own, writes when the mood strikes her, jots down poetry, sketches in the moving car, lovingly plays an old guitar, and is trying to learn html. She sings, she adores her video games, she dances, she quilts, she arranges flowers and she loves to curl up on the couch with a large cappucino and her cats and watch a good movie.
